The Passing of a Saint

Many of you will know of the life and ministry of D. James Kennedy.  He was used mightily of God during his earthly and has recently passed away to the glories of heaven. 

Dr. Kennedy was the founding pastor and senior minister at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in 48 years.  He is probably best remembered for his outreach training program, Evangelism Explosion.

Dr. Albert R. Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary offers some relfections on the lasting impact of Dr. Kennedy’s life and work.

Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church has also set up a special memorial website that you can go to to find out more about Dr. Kennedy’s remarkable life and ministry.

Spend some time this week, thanking God for such a gift to his people as D. James Kennedy.
