We’re Back in Town
Hello church family,
I wanted to let you know that we are back in town. On the way down on friday, we found out that my other grandmother was in the same hospital (!) with chf. On thursday night, the doctors thought my grandma (mom’s mom) was going to die. But by saturday morning, she was sitting up and eating breakfast. She is still doing very bad. In addition to having diabetes, she has scaring on her lungs which makes it difficult for her to breath. She still has to have a b-pap device at night, or else she will stop breathing. Her blood gases were still bad and she was having to have fluid drained from her lung today. So, she is not “better” and will be in the hospital for a while. But she has passed from the touch-and-go status she was in over the weekend. my other grandma is doing okay and went home today. Please continue to pray for her salvation as well.
Thanks for all of your prayers and support over the weekend. We really appreciate all of you who stepped up and took over the responsibilities for Melinda and me. You have been a great encouragement to us!
Blessings,
Pastor John
