Betty Misekow Home with the Lord

It is with sadness and joy that we share that last night Betty Misekow went home to be with the Lord.  Betty had been in the hospital since Friday with pneumonia.   This along with Betty’s long-term health concerns were too much for her body.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by members of her church family.

We are sad to lose our dear friend and sister in the Lord, but are not without hope.  We are filled with a reverent joy knowing that, because of her faith in Jesus Christ, Betty is in God’s presence.  We have this confidence because of Jesus’ own promise – “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.  In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?   And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.  And you know the way to where I am going.”   Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  (John 14:1-6).

A special luncheon will be held at Center Ridge Arms on Wednesday and a private service will be held later in the afternoon at the cemetary.

Our prayers and sympathies are with Betty’s families and friends.
