Living Nativity Holy Walk – December 5
Every year the Homer United Methodist Church in Midland puts on a “Holy Walk”, live nativity scene. Jeff Jewell is organizing a trip to see this Christ-celebrating event. More information can be found on the main bulletin board. If you are interested in going, please contact Jeff for details.
I would like more information about the Holy Walk event. What time does it start, how long does it last, and is it appropriate for children?
Thank you, Tricia Pierce
Hi Tricia,
Thanks for writing. The walk is actually 3 nights; 5th/6th/7th. We have church functions on the 6th & 7th, so the only night that we can go as a church group is the 5th. It starts at 6pm, and they take groups thru until 9pm. The walk itself is about 30 minutes or so. I have been to this walk several times, and it’s awesome. All ages are welcome. For more info you can call the church that is hosting the event at (989)835-5050
This sounds like fun, but we have the kids FIRST Lego League regional competition the 6th. We’re busy getting things together. We went to a “walk” in Frankenlust last year that sounded very similar. It was great!
Have a great time,
The Thomases
