Missionary Moments – July 14

While serving and living among his West African countrymen, DAVID NYAKOON’s heart is heavy because most West African people are lost, having either animistic beliefs or remaining adherents of Islam. Serving as African and African- American Church Planting Strategist for the Baptist Convention Of Pennsylvania and South Jersey, David strives to fulfill the vision of starting multicultural churches targeting the immense population of West African immigrants and African-Americans in greater Philadelphia. In order to impact these people, many things are needed: prayer, a permanent site where worship services can be held, and your continued faithfulness to reaching people through the Cooperative Program and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Join with David and SANDRA in praying for God to provide these needs to West Africans so that others may hear about God’s message of salvation. Genesis 14:18-22 A person’s giving to God is prompted by a basic attitude. Abraham is an example. His attitude was that all he had belonged to God. He refused to keep the things he captured in battle even after he gave 10 percent of it in gratitude and worship. Unselfishness and giving go together.
