Crossway is Hosting the BABA Annual Meeting – October 12.  Our church is hosting the Bay Area Baptist Association annual meeting on October 12, this year. It starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 12:30-1 p.m., with lunch following. All are invited to attend, and we will need volunteers to help with the lunch. Watch for a sign-up sheet to help with the food, or contact Linda Yanna or Denise Taglauer.

Members Meeting – October 20.  Members Meetings are a quarterly opportunity for us to hear from our ministry leaders on what God is doing at our church. It is an opportunity to look ahead and pray. It is also and opportunity to ask questions and fellowship with one another. The meeting will begin after a pot-luck meal. All members are encouraged to attend and bring something to share for the meal.

Reformation Celebration – October 27. Join us for a great time of fun, food, and fellowship, as we think back to the movement of God and the recovery of a clear gospel through the Protestant Reformation. Kids (and adults!) can participate in a costume contest (all costumes must be of people from church history). Adults (and kids!) can sign up to bring food or help during set-up and clean-up. The fun begins at 6:00pm. There will be no community groups that night.

Sola13 – December 6-7.  This December, Kevin DeYoung will be hosting a conference on the theology of the Reformation in Lansing, MI. Guests speakers include John Piper, Albert Mohler, and Matt Chandler. This will be a great conference that is close and priced inexpensively. Register at http://sola13.com

Angel Tree Ministry.  This year, Crossway is again participating in the Angel Tree ministry.  In the coming weeks, more information will be posted along with names of children we can serve.  Please pray about being involved.

Men’s Ministry.  Crossway is looking to start a new Men’s Ministry Bible study in the coming weeks. We are looking for feedback on who would be interested and available.  The material for the series is designed for weekly, hour and half sessions of Bible study and discussion on issues facing men today.  Each session is closely connected to the others and meant to build fraternity among the men.  This calls for a commitment to attendance.  The cost will be $10 for materials.  Please sign up, indicating your attendance preferences.
